Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American author, singer and performer best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her career as an actress on stage in Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. After that, she acted on Broadway in a variety of productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it big in the National Theatre. In the year 1957, she made her debut album named It's time to Tina. Louise started with her Hollywood career in the year 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was a huge hit and Louise received the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. The next role she starred in was through in 1964 when she enrolled with CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise continued to juggle her work successfully in between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing somber characters opposed to her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary, although she made a mark as a successful television director with numerous series, including Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was three which is where she spent the rest of her childhood and adolescence. In 1997 after being selected for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there since then.
